The Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate

8th – 10th July 2008, Great Yorkshire Showground

The Great Yorkshire Show, a premier UK countryside event, celebrates its 150th show this year.

The event brings together the best of British farming with an eclectic mix of country life, entertainment, shopping and competitions.

Last year saw more than 120,000 visitors come through the gates, and this celebratory year is expected to attract a record crowd to the 250 acre site.

The Royal Welsh Show Food Hall

New faces and new flavours, the Royal Welsh Show Food Hall will have something for everyone when it opens its doors to visitors at Wales' largest celebration of farming and food at Builth Wells later this month (July 21-24).

The Welsh Assembly Government managed True Taste Food Hall will once again be bursting with culinary delights to suit all tastes and pockets, and many of the 50 food and drink companies exhibiting in the Food Hall are True Taste Award winners.
