The London Tea Company, which says it is recognised for “bringing organic and Fairtrade beverages into the mainstream” has scooped two gold stars at the Great Taste Awards, which they call “the acknowledged benchmark” for speciality food and drink.

Green Tea, Mango and Ginger and a tisane with Lemongrass, Ginger and Citrus Fruits have all come up winners in the competition. The Great Taste Awards judges described the winning teas as "bright, refreshing with a balanced flavour" and "very lemony on the nose, lovely fragrant, refreshing citrus flavour from the lemongrass" respectively.

The winning teas, like the entire range, are described as being "packed with antioxidants" thanks to their authentic leaves, herbs, fruits and spice pieces for subtle rounded flavours that are refreshing to the palate.
