Some of Accent's chefs will have the opportunity to work alongside Garrett in his restaurant, where they can see first hand how he creates his menus and how he uses ingredients throughout the year. Looking ahead, Garrett has planned to hold workshops with larger groups of chefs and chef managers.
Gordon Haggarty, managing director at Accent Catering, explained: "We have recognised that chefs respond well to industry professionals who can inspire them and motivate them to experiment with new ingredients and refresh their skills in menu planning and preparation.
"We feel that Graham has the ideal style and personality to work with our team as he shares our passion for seasonal food."
Garrett said: "For me it's all about the ingredients and that doesn't change whether it is for a fine dining experience, a school or corporate contract caterin. I know that the team at Accent Catering feels the same and it was their willingness to embrace new ideas that first excited me."
