Hotelympia is now three shows in one, thanks to the adjoining events, Hostec Europe, a dedicated event for technology in the hospitality industry which has been an important part of Hotelympia for the past 4 shows, and Careers in Hospitality, the show that launched in 2006, and is now set to build on those solid foundations to be even bigger in 2008.
Also set to expand on its introduction at the last show is the Hotelympia 10K run which will see over 1000 participants take part for the hospitality industry charity, Springboard, as the starting gun signifies the start of Hotelympia 2008.

Craft Guild of Chefs will host The Skillery
The World of Coffee is a brand new feature for 2008 where visitors will be able to discover more about the journey from bean to cup with a programme of instructive seminars aimed at delivering a business benefit to operators of all types.
The Semi-Finals of the UK Barista Championships will take place within the feature on the Tuesday and Wednesday with the Final happening on the Thursday providing visitors the opportunity to marvel at the skills of world-class baristas.
The Cost Sector Catering Live Theatre (sponsored by Heinz), will have a daily sector focus covering the armed forces, universities and hospitals.
In addition to the new features the show will also boast a revised look this year with 4 key new areas:

Decor and Design: From the inside or outside, the design of your establishment can dramatically enhance the guests overall experience. With consultants on hand to assist visitors this new area will include the Design Showcase (in association with GS Magazine), and will help to give inspiration and stimulation to visitors from all sectors of the industry.
Bathroom and Spa: A true area to indulge the senses as well as a real profit opportunity, bathrooms and spas can mirror the rest of a hotel. Make sure that you are up to date with the very latest products as well as aware of the opportunities that can evolve for a relatively small investment.
Premises and Facilities Management: Facilities management is one of the fastest growing professions in the UK and is very important to the hospitality industry. From air conditioning through to uniforms, energy management to guest amenities, this area is awash with suggestions and ideas.
