Apetito wins The Customer Focus Award

apetito, the speciality frozen ready meal supplier to the community, care homes and hospitals nationally, has won The Customer Focus Award at the National Business Southern Awards and now goes forward to the grand final which will be held at the Grosvenor House, London in November.

The company had to demonstrate that it has the customer at the heart of its business and deploys and manages its resources to most effectively meet the needs of its customer base.

Competing against major blue chip organisations and big name brands, apetito fought off fierce competition from Capita Life & Pensions, Carillion plc and Inchcape Fleet Solutions amongst others to take the accolade.

Paul Freeston, chief executive, apetito, said: "We put the customer at the heart of everything we do, from tracking and monitoring our services to an ongoing programme of investment in new initiatives."

He continued: "In doing so, we not only deliver value back to the customer, but are now being recognised for our commitment to sustainable practice and for being socially responsible in all areas of our business."

This latest award follows apetito receiving a 'Big Tick' in Business in the Community's Awards for Excellence in June.
