In partnership with Orange and held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, the awards saw Nick Clegg, deputy prime minister, deliver the keynote speech to 1,200 of the country's top business leaders and entrepreneurs in attendance.
Martin Stiven, vice president of business at Everything Everywhere, the company that runs Orange said: "All of the winners of the National Business Awards have demonstrated something really special - a spark of brilliance that means they are able to stand out from the crowd and outperform their market conditions.
"It has been a challenging year for business, however, the business excellence demonstrated by the award winners shows that the UK business community can thrive and help drive the economy forward. I'd like to congratulate the winners and hope to see their continued success."
Paul Freeston, UK chief executive apetito, commented: "Launched four years ago, our 'Break from the Pack' strategy is about creating a truly exceptional company and team, judged not just in financial terms, but also through the eyes of the customers we serve.
"We are on a journey to create a company with a unique focus on its customers, always looking to exceed their expectations by understanding their needs and finding innovative solutions to meet them. This highly prestigious award is recognition of the success achieved so far by team apetito."
