Aramark teams up with Marcus Wareing

3rd November 2008, 11:26am

Aramark has joined forces with renowned chef Marcus Wareing to train its staff to the same standard as his own two Michelin-starred restaurant in London.

Wareing will work closely with Aramark's business dining chefs in a training and development programme centered around service reviews, training workshops and one-to-one mentoring and coaching, including a unique training experience in Marcus' own kitchen at his eatery, Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley.

The programme will focus on developing not only the culinary expertise of the division's chefs, but on enhancing all aspects of their service delivery to the clients of the business dining portfolio.

Talking about the new partnership, Wareing said: "I am delighted to be working with Aramark, and helping to enhance the quality of service to their business dining clients.  This is an exciting partnership with tough and ambitious goals to achieve and I look forward to the challenges ahead. It is a fabulous opportunity to contribute to Aramark's Business Dining offering, recognised by many as the very best in this part of the industry."

Sue Johnson, managing director of business dining at Aramark, added: "Our relationship with Marcus will focus on developing the culinary expertise of our chefs and we strongly believe this strategic partnership will add value to every element of Business Dining."
