Are you a Tårtoholic?

A spokesperson at Almondy has issued a health warning that eating Almondy tårta may lead to Tårtoholism sweeping the country.

It is believed that Hotelympia to be held in February could lead to a significant increase in Tårtoholism.

What is Tårtoholism?
Tårtoholism noun. Addiction to Swedish Almondy tårta. Some connoisseurs of tårta claim to suffer from this condition and self-describe themselves as Tårtoholics.

The Guilty Party
Almondy, bakers of the irresistible Swedish almond tårta will be encouraging visitors at Hotelympia to support them in the battle against the resistible and succumb to a slice of Sweden.

Throughout the show, visitors will be able to sample this popular gluten free cake available to buy at 3663, show their support and love of tårta by signing up to join United Tårtodom, enjoy daily shows dedicated to Tårtoholism and receive Almondy goodies to take home.

"Almondy has been a cult favourite with Ikea customers for years, our 3663 and Tesco listing enables us to bring our Swedish tårta to the masses. The almond base makes Almondy utterly unique and the fact our tårtas are baked using quality ingredients, naturally taste great as well as being gluten free means they are a premium frozen option with mass appeal - we may very well see Tårtoholism sweeping the country!" Andrew Ely, Managing Director, Almondy

The Almondy almond tårta (base of the cake) is inspired by a Swedish recipe dating back to the 1800s, used as the basis for Almondy's creativity Almondy have produced six deliciously, delectable flavours including the Daim and Snickers varieties you'll find in 3663:

Almondy tårta with Daim®
The delicious Daim Bar variant - classic creamy almond cake topped with crunchy almond caramel covered with smooth milk chocolate.
Almondy tårta with Snickers®

With a natural great taste, Almondy's tårtas are free of preservatives and additives, plus they're gluten free perfect for customers who are Coeliac (gluten intolerant) but want to indulge without risking their health.
