BaxterStorey secure contracts worth £10.5m

19th February 2009, 10:54am

BaxterStorey continues to ride against the wave of slowing business fortunes as the company announced new business gains worth more than £10.5m since the start of 2009.

The UK's leading food service management company for business and industry has been appointed by clients including the Government's Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, vehicle manufacturer Fiat Group, cruise operator Carnival and law firm, Irwin Mitchell.

Explaining how his company is able to maintain such a positive position in the face of a diminishing market for business and industry catering, Alastair Storey, Chief Executive, said: "Our success rests on focusing on our customers. There's no denying that this is an environment in which customers are looking for cost savings, but more than anything they want great value.

"Our proactive approach focuses on delivering this through seasonal food, assured provenance, outstanding service and close client relationships.

"These elements combine to create a proposition that is attracting interest and which result in an on-site offer that makes our clients workplaces more enjoyable places to be."
