BaxterStorey secures Virgin Atlantic Airways contracts

BaxterStorey is celebrating an outstanding first six months trading activity in 2008 with appointments from almost 30 new clients, the latest of which include Virgin Atlantic Airways.

Total new business wins to date see the company catering for over 10,000 more people across 42 sites throughout the UK. The three-year Virgin Atlantic Airways contract is a multisite operation covering the airline's head office and separate training base in Crawley, West Sussex and its hangar at Heathrow.

Services will cover breakfast, lunch and hospitality facilities as well as the management of retail outlets.

Commenting on BaxterStorey's excellent performance, Alastair Storey, Chief Executive said: "With the economic situation looking much bleaker than last year we anticipated milder growth. Even in times of economic slowdown, leading employers recognise the need to offer high quality dining services to their employees and our proposition meets that requirement. We're continuing to experience strong demand for our services."

The company manages and operates employee restaurants and executive dining rooms for over 280 businesses across the UK including Barclays Bank, Department of Culture and Media, GlaxoSmithkline, ITV, Oracle and Slaughter & May.
