Bright Futures Group acquire Yes Dining Limited

2nd September 2010, 12:49pm

The independent contract catering company Bright Futures Group (BFG) has acquired privately-owned Yes Dining Limited in an all shares deal.

The deal will enhance BFG's existing Restaurants at Work and Jill Bartlett & Company operations, which it is integrating under the Bright Futures name.

Yes Dining Limited, which was founded in 1999 and employs around 250 staff, looks after local authority and business and industry clients including London Borough of Hillingdon.

Chief executive for BFG, Tjalke Boersma, said: "The new addition to the group, its second since floating on the PLUS Market in 2008, outlined the group's ambition to strengthen its presence across the UK.

"We are delighted to have finalised the deal with Yes Dining Limited and look forward to working hard to build on the company's success.

"We are constantly exploring opportunities to bring experienced, well-run catering operators into our group to increase the strength of the company and our presence across the UK.

"Yes Dining fits into this model perfectly. The company has a strong reputation and high profile clients and we believe the firm will benefit greatly from being brought into the group and our ever growing support network."

Bright Futures Group, which has its headquarters at Epsom in Surrey, operates throughout the UK. Clients include Hewitt Associates, Dairy Crest and NSPCC.

Martin Bell, of Castle View, Yes Dining's former parent company, said: "This is an exciting time for Yes Dining Limited and I wish them every success under the new umbrella of the Bright Futures Group plc, in which Castle View retains a stake in its success.

"Over the past 11 years each employee within the Yes Dining team has worked hard in developing the company in reaching its success today and I therefore take this opportunity to thank the management and teams within the units for their continued support and loyalty over the years.

"I wish both Bright Futures Group plc and the Yes Dining team continued success in the future."
