British Airways partners with Cranberry Enterprise

British Airways has teamed up with Cranberry Enterprise to add a fruit and nut mix to its in-flight drinks service.

Developed with Alpha Flight Ltd, the new pack will be served to passengers travelling from Gatwick on the airline's Eurotraveller routes.

The mix features cashews, almonds, hazelnuts and dried Organic raisins packaged in easy to open Cranberry branded bags.

The ingredients are sourced and traditionally dry roasted by sister company Cranberry Roasting. For the retail market, Cranberry Enterprise currently creates pre-packed products in two different sizes - Grab Bags, which weigh 100–140g with an RRP of £1.99 and smaller Snackpacks which sell for 99p.

These pre-packs are available in a wide selection of product types including dry roasted nuts and raw mixed nuts, dried fruits and chocolate or yogurt coated nuts and fruits.

Managing director of Cranberry Enterprise, Nick Charlton, said: "We are delighted to have secured this listing for B.A. Choosing Cranberry is vindication of our meticulous sourcing policy and high quality products and clearly amplifies our ability to create exciting ranges to suit different trading environments.

"We look forward to a successful partnership in this new sector for Cranberry and to serve many more customers who will come to know our brand in the future."

Cranberry Enterprise is the pre-pack sales arm of the Cranberry.
