The prestigious awards allow caterers to showcase the way they are responding to changing consumer demands for healthy eating and innovation.
Judges will also be looking for the new British Turkey Chef of the year, an award last year won by Anthony Williams, head chef at the Williams Arms in Wrafton,
Winners of the total of 14 awards will be announced by celebrity chef Phil Vickery at a Hollywood themed black tie charity dinner and dance at Claridge's Ballroom,
Catriona Lee, of the British Turkey Federation's marketing committee, commented: "Catering is a hugely important sector to the industry. Buying British allows caterers to flag up provenance on the menu, which is an increasingly important factor for many consumers."
Last year's catering category winner was Bernard Matthews, for its free Range Norfolk Black Combi Case, which the panel of judges said "hit all the right buttons for taste, succulence and convenience."
