Careers in Hospitality

15th November 2007, 12:16pm

Careers in Hospitality is the only event dedicated to bringing together employees and employers with an interest in the hospitality industry.

Now in its second year as a separate show, Careers in Hospitality is co-located alongside Hotelympia and help recruiters to attract and retain the right staff.

The two-day show which will run on the Monday and Tuesday of Hotelympia (18th/19th February 2008) attracts its own dedicated audience, as well as the obvious cross over of senior management already visiting Hotelympia. In 2006, 6'500 visitors were welcomed to Careers in Hospitality.

2008 promises to be an even bigger event with over 40 representative companies, including main operators such as Intercontinental, Malmaison, Four Seasons and Mark Warner.

Supporting the show, will be a dedicated seminar programme, organised by the Institute of Hospitality. Covering pertinent issues such as 'Flexible Working', 'Improving your Interview Skills' and 'Why don't the British want a career in Hospitality?' will be influential figures from the industry such as Michael Gray, General Manager of Hyatt International, Geoff Booth, Centre Director for Hospitality at Westminster & Kingsway College and Sean Wheeler, Group Director of People Development for Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin.
