7th February 2011, 10:27am

Caterer Aramark has revealed that it has converted its supplies of shell eggs to free-range, with no extra costs.

Debbie Walter, supply chain director, Aramark, said: "Our farmers use breeds specially selected for good ranging and hardiness.

"We are delighted to be in a position to announce that all of our free-range farms are Freedom Food (RSPCA) approved and meet all their quality standards."

These products come from free-range hens which are free to roam on pasture and have shelter when they want it.
