Caterer Aramark wins 10 year contract with AEGON

25th March 2010, 8:07am

Food management company Aramark has won a 10 year extension contract with AEGON, one of the world's largest providers of pensions, life insurance and investment products.

As part of the contract, Aramark will continue to employ over 70 front line members of staff to fulfil various service requirements including the provision of catering, vending, hospitality, AV provision, switchboards, taxi, and reception services across the entire AEGON estate.

Keith Butlin, regional business manager of Aramark, said: "We have been working with AEGON since 1996 developing an exceptional working relationship.  This has culminated in our recognition as a strategic supplier.  The contract extension recognises our achievements and joint-vision for the future in which we will rationalise soft support services for the betterment of the AEGON business.

"Aramark's total commitment to AEGON over the last decade has been driven by innovation and an expanded service portfolio – successfully achieving a double digit top line growth year-on-year.  Without compromising on quality, efficiency or variety of offerings, Aramark has delivered a 27% reduction in cost per person for the company."

This latest extension will take the partnership with AEGON Property Services to 25 years, for which Aramark will continue to deliver uncompromising quality across the UK's 23 sites.
