The campaign, which is part of the charity Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming, is interested to hear from institutions of any size right across the public sector, whether baking bread from scratch without artificial additives in-house or buying it in from a bakery.
The aim of the scheme is to encourage more public sector caterers and food-access projects to bake their own Real Bread or buy it in from local independent bakeries.
Chris Young, who works on the campaign, said: "Giving the many reasons why more public sector canteens should put what we call Real Bread on their menus is easy for us, as is running bread making workshops. But the best people to encourage cooks and caterers to make this happen, and share more ways how, are the people doing so already."
He added: "So whether you're involved with a rural school kitchen that bakes a few loaves a week, a university serving sandwiches to thousands of students a day, or a national catering company that offers bread rolls and baguettes at public sector sites nationwide, if they are additive-free, then the Campaign would like you to get in touch."
