National independent contract catering company Catering Academy has won a deal with HEROtsc to develop eight of its sites across the UK.

The Academy has been selected to implement the contract catering facilities across the sites for the next five years. HEROtsc provides business solutions to the UK, Asia Pacific and the US.

The contract, worth over £5 million, will service six sites across Scotland, one in Warrington and one in Rotherham.

The team has implemented a marketing concept across three Cafe bars for the Warrington, Rotherham & Falkirk sites. The five remaining Scottish sites employed an 'Express' modern retail shop concept designed specifically for a "prompt, efficient service".

Each site also has a full vending and hospitality service.

Catering Academy's general manager (Sales), Sue Astin said: "HEROtsc is an extremely significant win for Team Academy and will represent a flagship group contract within our organisation. The commitment to our team ethos is visible throughout our service offering, something we felt aligned well with the working culture at HEROtsc."
