A new sales manager has been appointed at catering company Payne and Gunter.

Alana Bicknell will be responsible for finding new revenue streams, building venue relationships and increasing the profile of the Payne and Gunter brand.

Bicknell is joining the team from the Royal Albert Hall where she worked for Compass Group as head of events and sales for the last six years and five months.

The new sales manager commented: "I am delighted to represent such a pre-eminent brand and join a successful team of people whose focus is on exceeding customer expectations. My focus is very much developing a sales strategy to drive business and I'm very much looking forward to developing relationships with both the corporate and agency community."

Jayne Denneny, senior sales manager at Payne and Gunter, added: "The addition of Alana to the team will mean that we can reinforce our presence in the market as one of the top London caterers who provides a flexible approach to events and an innovative and contemporary product".

Recent Payne and Gunter projects include the Royal Windsor Horse Show, the Natural History Museum, Madame Tussauds and the National Maritime Museum.
