Catering specialists Catermasters supports Teenage Cancer Trust

The joint managing directors of workplace catering specialist, Catermaters, put on their chef's whites last week as part of a fundraising initiative to benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Richard Moody and Nigel Johnson successfully took charge of the lunch service at Henman's LLP in Oxford on Tuesday, December 1.

Catermasters doubled the takings for the day in the staff restaurant and will donate the whole amount – estimated to be around £500 – to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Moody said: "Nigel and I both entered the catering profession because we have a passion for cooking, so it was great to go back to our roots and take control of the busy Henman's hot plate for such a worthy cause.

"Although we both try and cook as much as possible at home, there is something special about cooking in a real kitchen and we both thoroughly enjoyed our day at Henman's. The lunch service ran smoothly and I'm pleased to say we managed to uphold the high standard of food quality that our customers expect from Catermasters."
