Workplace catering specialist Catermasters has appointed Judith Davidson as a non-executive director.

Davidson has extensive experience in the contract catering industry and will play a leading role in helping to make the Catermasters business more efficient and commercially stronger.

Davidson started her career in the airline catering sector, gaining operational experience in Birmingham, Luton and Paris before progressing to the contract catering industry and working in regional sales and operations roles.

Catermasters' joint managing director, Nigel Johnson, said: "We're always looking for experienced people that can help to improve the performance of the business as a whole by bringing a new perspective to the table.

"Judith's commercial background is extensive and she has recorded significant successes along the way. I think she has the right skills to compliment those that we have already got at Catermasters and will help to deliver the kind of results that we are looking for."
