Catermasters serves up a five-star rating

Catermasters, the contract caterer that provides all of the on-site catering services to the Williams F1 team in Oxfordshire has just been awarded a five-star rating by the Environmental Health Office for its standards of hygiene.

The Leamington-based company provides all of the catering services at Williams' staff restaurant, as well as its conference centre that regularly hosts delegates for various events.

Nigel Gill is the chef manager at the main Williams site, while Ryan Holmes heads up the catering effort at the conference centre.

Catermasters joint managing director, Nigel Johnson, said: "We always strive to set the highest possible standards in all of our catering sites around the UK, but it's particularly satisfying when your achievements are recognised by an official body like the Environmental Health office. The 'Scores of the Doors' initiative aims to encourage food businesses to improve their standards and that's something are fully supporting of."

Cllr Angela Lawrence, Vale of White Horse District Council Executive Member for Food Safety, said: "We congratulate Catermasters for having achieved a five-star rating. They are providing a shining example to other caterers and it is a pleasure to be able to celebrate their success."
