Charlton House water sales support seeds for Africa

24th July 2009, 12:16pm

Sales of Charlton House’s Wellbeing bottled water have raised £2,862.67 in the first twelve weeks of a campaign to support the charity, Seeds for Africa.

Seeds for Africa aims to provide sustainable food sources for African families and communities. Charlton House donates a percentage of each sale to the charity.

Amanda Gerrard, corporate fundraising officer for Seeds for Africa, said: "The partnership between Seeds for Africa and Charlton House began almost a year ago when I was invited to a meeting with Caroline Fry (managing director) and Elsabe Snyman (purchasing co-ordinator).

"Immediately, I felt that these were people who understood the heart of the charity and its aims. Charlton House has already made a significant contribution to our work in Africa."
