Simon Hulstone will mentor young chefs in Toque d'Or
Following the regional heats that took place across the length and breadth of the country, the six chef mentors are confirmed as:
• Alan Murchison / Chris Horridge – York College
• Andreas Antona – Simpsons – Birmingham College
• Phil Fanning – Paris House – West Anglia College
• Simon Hulstone – The Elephant – Petroc (North Devon) College
• Will Holland – La Becasse – Warrington College
Neil Stephens, managing director at Nestlé Professional, said: "To gather together such a superior mentoring panel is testament to the success of the Nestlé Toque D'Or competition and with this year's high calibre mentors now on board we are looking to the students to make the '21st Birthday Year' the best cook off yet."
Mentors will advise their grand finalist college over the next three months ensuring they are fully prepared to serve 100 covers at the BBC Summer Good Food Show in June.
