Chefs and caterers invited to enter the Knorr Blue Dragon competition

11th January 2012, 8:36am

Chefs and caterers have just two weeks left to enter the Knorr Blue Dragon competition.

Entrants must design a dish using one of the new Knorr Blue Dragon pastes available in: Laksa, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry and Char Siu varieties.

Participants can register for a free sample on the www.KnorrBlueDragon.co.uk website before uploading details of their original dish, with a photograph, by Monday 23 January 2012.

Once all entries have been received, a group of expert judges will choose five finalists to attend Knorr's Kitchen at Unilever Food Solutions, Leatherhead, for a live cook-off to announce the winner.

The prize is a holiday for two to Thailand with three nights accommodation in Bangkok and five nights in Phuket. The winner will take part in four professional master classes from expert chefs in both cities, with daily trips to the local market to source their ingredients, as well as going on a private fishing trip. The winner will also take home a video camera to record their unique experiences.
