Closing date approaches for Gluten-Free Chef of the Year competition

22nd September 2010, 10:09am

Chefs have until 15 October to enter this year's Gluten-Free Chef of the Year competition.

Coeliac UK is working in conjunction with the Institute of Hospitality, Craft Guild of Chefs, Sodexo and 3663, to find recipes for a three course gluten-free menu.

To enter, chefs must send in their recipes and they could be in with a chance to take part in a live cook off which will be judged by celebrity chef, Phil Vickery.

Prizes on offer include a placement at Pennyhill Park working alongside Michelin starred chef Michael Wignall and a placement at Gleneagles with Michelin starred chef Andrew Fairlie.

this will be a great opportunity for me to expose my culinary skills. I would like to perform in a best part to create a gluten free recipe.
