Aramark

The account director for Europe, Middle East and Africa oversees nine sites for international bank JPMorgan Chase - nine in the UK and one in Luxembourg - as part of a global contract with the company that is worth £36 million to Aramark. In the three years he has been involved with the account Rodney has instigated a number of innovations to improve processes, cut costs and drive sales with the result that sales grew 8% last year and there was a 58% improvement in P&L. Among the changes he has overseen are the introduction of a 'Pret'-style sandwich range, the development of a food cost tracker to control costs and the appointment of a coffee bar manager to head 15 coffee shops and drive sales. His initiatives have earned Aramark the award of additional services by the client, including reception and corporate events.
