The deal sees BaxterStorey providing a whole host of catering services for approximately 1,800 people; from staff dining in the new restaurant, which includes freshly prepared hot meals, a deli bar, a grab and go range and a salad bar, to vending services and a Starbucks coffee offer – which is BaxterStorey's first Starbucks franchise.
The caterer will also deliver a hospitality service over three floors of the building, serving up to 1,600 covers per day, plus corporate fine dining for BlackRock employees and guests.
It is also responsible for managing a retail shop on behalf of the client.
Noel Mahony, BaxterStorey chief executive said: "We are absolutely delighted to be awarded this prestigious contract with BlackRock.
"In these austere times it is critical for BaxterStorey to help our clients to get a return on their investment in catering and we believe that our ability to deliver high quality and innovative food, that's freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients, is why BaxterStorey can fiercely compete with retailers for a large share of customer spend."
