The caterer was declared the winner of both the Best Bramley Catering Foodservice Company and the Best Bramley Foodservice Product Award.
The awards celebrate the outstanding commitment to the Bramley apple as well as rewarding excellence in using and promoting the great British Bramley by businesses.
Compass prides itself on purchasing and using the best quality apples at England's fruit orchards, growing a number of varieties such as Royal Gala, Braeburn, Cox and of course Bramley. These apples are used to produce products including Compass' 'Toffee Apple Crumble' which won Compass the Best Bramley Foodservice Product Award at the Brammy Awards this year.
Jane Wakeling, regional sourcing manager, Compass Group UK & Ireland said: "Compass is fully committed to supporting locally grown produce and strongly believes in purchasing and promoting produce that is in season. We are delighted to receive these two Brammy Awards which recognise not only this commitment to sourcing great local produce but also the ability of our chefs to develop amazing recipes with seasonal ingredients."
Adrian Barlow, chairman, Bramley Campaign added: "This has been an exceptional year for the Bramley, with a significant increase in sales of fresh produce. The commitment and continued support of companies such as Compass has made this success possible and they fully deserve these two Brammy Awards."
