The event, which took place at Westminster Kingsway College in London, was organised by Sodexo's legal team to raise money for STOP Hunger, the Sodexo Foundation's campaign to help alleviate hunger in local communities by donating funds to charitable organisations that provide food to those in need.
Teams from nine law firms took part in a series of challenges, including working with sushi, making pasta, making chocolate truffles, wine tasting and a cheese quiz.
They also took part in the 'Ready Steady Cook' challenge where, whilst competing against each other, they were set a task to cook roasted cod on a herb risotto and lemon oil dressing, as well as trying to cook the perfect sirloin steak.
The activities were run by a team of ten Sodexo chefs and led by David Mulcahy, Sodexo's craft and food development director.
Sodexo's charity partners, FareShare, SSAFA and Training for Life/The Hoxton Apprentice, also had representatives who attended the event.
Mulcahy said: "It was a fantastic event supported by our chefs and showcasing our culinary talent to Sodexo clients, which as well as being great fun, raised a significant amount for STOP Hunger. We are hugely thankful to Westminster Kingsway College for their amazing support in hosting the event and to members of the legal department who did a great job in organising the evening."
