The Great Hall in the Royal Courts of Justice
The contract, which until now has been run on an accredited caterer list basis, joins other venues such as Tower Bridge Walkways and Vinopolis where the operator has also been awarded sole supplier status.
Following a review of the business over the last two years and as a testament to the success of Seasoned Events at the venue, Her Majesty's Courts Service has reverted back to the original intent of the venue management contract.
Seasoned Events has been managing all corporate events at the Royal Courts and will continue to do so with an accredited list of production companies, florists and entertainment agencies.
Gavin Marshall, head of events for Seasoned Events at the Royal Courts of Justice said: "It's wonderful news. We've had some first class events here at the Royal Courts and I'm relishing the opportunity to take one of the capital's first class event venues to the next level of success."
The Royal Courts completes some 40 external corporate events per year on top of a number of internal judiciary occasions. Recently the venue has held a glut of 'A List' events from the 25th Anniversary of the British Fashion Awards attended by everyone from Philip Green and Kate Moss to Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood's Red Label AW2010 Fashion Show, Anna Valentine's Fashion Show (dress designer to the Duchess of Cornwall), Anish Kapoor's Exhibition Launch party, The Willow Foundation's Annual Fundraiser and recently a Marie Curie Fundraiser.
