Date extended for Springboard Awards for Excellence

1st October 2008, 10:29am

The deadline for submitting entries for the Springboard Awards for Excellence 2008 has been extended to next Tuesday (7 October) due to popular demand.

Enthusiastic candidates who have already entered the awards have the opportunity to revise their existing submissions.

After the judging process starts the week commencing 13 October, there will be no further extension.

The three categories for the awards are promoting Careers; Attracting people; and Best Employment Practice. Individuals, teams or partnerships with relevant initiatives that have achieved high quality results over the last year can make nominations.

Each award entry will have to meet specific set criteria, depending on the award, and a short-list from each of the three categories will be drawn up and entries judged by a small panel chaired by a Springboard UK director.
