EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE KITCHEN SINK

Apuro has upgraded its Mini Kitchen 'all-in-one' system from Whirlpool to include CFC-free refrigeration, low energy consumption and low noise levels.

Designed for semi-domestic situations that require the essential equipment for basic cooking, the Mini-Kitchen is a complete and compact kitchen unit featuring cooking rings, fridge, kitchen sink and undersink storage in a single, discreet and easy to install unit.

It's a simple, low cost and quick-fit facility. Popular applications include student accommodation, studio flats, offices, exhibitions stands, storage areas in show flat developments, nursing home staff rooms, or anywhere requiring low-volume catering and easy, fast installation.

The CFC-free refrigerator has a 114-litre storage capacity, complete with 3-star icebox, semi-automatic defrosting, two shelves, salad crisper and door bottle-holders.

Two rust-resistant cooking rings, one standard and one fast-heat, provide the cooking facility. The sink unit is a quality stainless steel model with single mixer tap, ridged draining board and drainage/overflow. Underneath is a large cupboard offering space for storage, waste bin, cleaning materials, or simply as installation space for equipment such as a water heater (not supplied).

The system is ranked in Energy Class C, with a typical consumption of 285kWh per year, Climate Class N.

It's available in 'right-hand' or 'left-hand' versions and is the conventional dimension for kitchen units - 1000mm wide and 600mm deep. Being integrated, it needs only a single 13amp plug to drive both the refrigerator and cooking rings, and uses the standard ½" mains water pipe and 1½" waste drainage pipe.
