

Electrolux Professional has been awarded a three-year contract with the Pro5 group of Professional Buying Organisations (PBO's), which includes the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), the Central Buying Consortium (CBC), West Mercia Supplies (WMS), the North East Purchasing Organisation (NEPO) and the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO). Electrolux Professional, as an approved supplier, will take on full kitchen equipment provision from consultation through to design, supply and project management.
This Framework Agreement has been established through a collaborative procurement exercise undertaken by ESPO, on behalf of the Pro5 Group; five of the largest public sector professional buying organisations in the UK, with a combined purchasing power in excess of £2 billion per annum.
Running until February 2013, with the possibility of a 12 month extension, the contract will see Electrolux Professional providing a comprehensive range of commercial catering equipment and overseeing kitchen refurbishment projects.
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) has provided funding of £100 million to Local Authorities to refurbish and replenish kitchens and dining rooms in schools across England, helping them to become more sustainable and efficient, which is where Electrolux Professional's expertise will benefit.
