Elior UK celebrates at the Imperial War Museum

18th March 2008, 8:57am

digby trout Restaurants, part of Elior UK, had a double celebration this week, with the launch of the new conference and corporate hospitality facilities in the multi-million pound AirSpace building at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

Invited guests from local businesses and enterprises gathered under the wings of a Concorde 101 for a cocktail reception and to hear Elior's CEO Michael Audis speak at the event about the new facilities and services available.
Audis said: "The services that we will be able to provide here are truly innovative, best in class and the envy of many. Combining our extensive expertise and skills with these facilities will allow for a truly tailored service and we very much look forward to delivering some unique events here."

digby trout Restaurants are providing catering services to support the state-of-the-art conferencing and events facilities, within AirSpace. The venue, which can accommodate conferences for up to 200 guests, has a fully equipped lecture theatre, the 'Marshall Auditorium'.

All 6 breakout rooms, named after the most famous aircraft in British war history such as 'Spitfire, Comet and Vulcan', are equipped with the latest conference technology and can be used for events of up to 140 guests.

Lunches and dinners are offered in the unique Airside Suite, which allows an incredible view over the still active runway. Corporate hospitality packages will be sold for the Airside Suite during upcoming Air Shows in 2008.

Part of Elior UK, digby trout Restaurants are catering specialists within museum, visitor attractions and heritage sites throughout the UK and officially assumed the management and operation of the conference and corporate hospitality facilities at the Imperial War Museum Duxford in November 2007.

The visitor catering services also provided include three outlets, the Mess Restaurant, Café 'Wing Co's Jo and a café bar 'Station 357'.
