The Eurest Services team behind the employee catering at ScottishPower in Glasgow, have won the Healthy Workplace Restaurant of the Year accolade in the Scottish Restaurant Awards 2010.

Now in their third year, these awards acknowledged the outstanding creativity, customer service and top quality dining that is on offer throughout Scotland.

The Healthy Workplace Restaurant of the Year Award is open to organisations that can demonstrate the provision of a comfortable breakaway environment and nutritious food to help recharge and fuel the batteries during the long hours at work.

Commenting on the team's success, Ivan Bonner, business director, Eurest Services North said: "Providing our clients with high quality, great tasting healthy food is at the very heart of what we do so it is great to see one of our teams winning this award.

"The fact that we were nominated by our client makes it extra special and I'm proud that the service we provide to our customers meets the high standards that people have come to expect from Eurest Services."

The awards were held at The Corn Exchange in Edinburgh on Monday 22 February 2010.
