Fair Ground is full of beans

18th September 2008, 12:31pm

Due to the continuing success of FAIR INSTANT, with over £170,000 raised over the last 18 months through the Save the Children partnership, a new brand FAIR GROUND has been introduced.

FAIR GROUND is a range of specially selected coffees which offer two varieties - Fairtrade Gold roast & ground coffee and Fairtrade Espresso coffee beans.

These products are available in two different strengths, Gold roast is a premium ground coffee which has a smooth aromatic and well balanced flavour while the Espresso coffee beans are a blend of beans with an intense aroma and richer consistency.

FAIR GROUND Gold roast is suitable for use in any fresh brew machine and the Espresso beans can be used in any bean 2 cup and espresso machines.

The FAIR GROUND products are available in 500g food service packs, with every pack sold a 25 pence contribution goes to Save the Children supporting their education projects in coffee growing countries, such as providing training for teachers, uniforms, gym kits and lunches as well as helping to set-up mobile libraries and play areas. Already 5,500 children have benefited from this support.

Austin Sugarman, Sales and Marketing Director comments, "I am really excited about the launch of the FAIR GROUND brand as it has real appeal for restaurants, coffee shops and caterers alike and continuing to support Save the Children with a further contribution is very important to the values and beliefs of the 'FAIR' brand, as well as helping farmers like Jose Cano".
