Flora encourages caterers to use less saturated fat

A campaign to encourage caterers to increase awareness of saturated fat consumption is being launched by Unilever Foodsolutions.

From March 2010, the Flora Cooking with Business promotion – in connection with Flora Cooking with Schools – will offer caterers the opportunity to win a £10,000 kitchen makeover and one for a primary school of their choice.

Claire Sullivan, marketing director, Unilever Foodsolutions explains more: "Most people within the foodservice and hospitality industry have been affected by the economic downturn in some way, so it's not surprising that large costs, like purchasing new equipment, get put on hold.

"We wanted to ensure the Flora Cooking with Business promotion was giving something back to businesses as well as the local community by offering prizes that can really add value during these challenging times."

To enter the promotion, caterers simply purchase FLORA 2kg or FLORA portions and submit details from the till receipt online at www.winwithFlora.co.uk
