Grand finalists announced for Nestlé Toque d’Or

19th March 2010, 12:37pm

Nestlé Toque d’Or, a competition for UK catering students, has announced the five selected colleges that have battled their way through to this year’s Grand Final.

Following the regional heats which took place across the length and breadth of the country, the five colleges to successfully make it through to the finals are:

Petroc (North Devon)
The College of West Anglia
University College Birmingham
Warrington Collegiate
York College

These budding stars wowed the judges with their skills. Neil Stephens, managing director at Nestlé Professional said: "Every year our team is reassured by the level of skill and ingenuity the colleges bring to the competition …and this year is no exception."

Each grand finalist college has three months to prepare to serve 100 covers at the BBC Summer Good Food Show, which takes places in June.
