HACCP? THERE ARE INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONS OUT THERE

15th April 2008, 4:01pm

Meeting HACCP regulations does not necessarily mean more work. There are intelligent solutions that take over the time-consuming record taking and documentation leaving the chef free to cook and create new menus.

Rational's SelfCooking Center automatically records all the required HACCP data. The records can then be downloaded to a USB stick at any convenient time and transferred onto a PC for processing and printing.

Even in larger establishments where more than one SelfCooking Center is used and a variety of meals are produced, documentation can still be easy. Rational has developed the CombiLink software package to effectively network several SelfCooking Centers together. The HACCP data for all connected units is automatically recorded and saved in the background, even if the software has not been started.

Networking SelfCooking Centers through CombiLink also means individual cooking processes, and recipes can be created and saved for all the units in the network. The connected units are controlled centrally via the control station function. This is especially useful for a group or chain that might have several branches.

To further ease the chef's workload the CombiLink package includes a product input and profit margin calculation facility.
