Heathrow catering outlets serve up a Taste of Christmas

17th December 2009, 9:02am

Restaurants and eateries across all Heathrow terminal buildings will be offering staff and passengers a taste of Christmas with its very own festive food event.

New and limited edition treats have been created exclusively for Heathrow.

A Christmas taster take away menu is one of the items on offer with prices starting from as little as £3.00. Dishes include roast pumpkin soup with parmesan, turkey pie with cranberry sauce and Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.

Head of food and beverage at Heathrow Chris Annetts, said: "Christmas would not be the same without the traditional festive meal so we have worked hard to ensure both staff and passengers can still enjoy the best parts of Yuletide at the airport. We hope the new additions will satisfy people's Christmas cravings and showcase the fantastic food on offer in each of our airport buildings."

Heathrow's Taste of Christmas festival will run until the 23rd December 2009.
