Hostec-Europe, a dedicated event for technology in the hospitality industry has been an important part of Hotelympia for the past 4 shows and 2008 sees some important changes.

Now holding a premier position within ExCeL the show will be open from the Monday through to the Thursday and will feature a specific seminar programme that boasts an operator led focus.

Much more aimed at the sharing of experiences, the programme will cover off the key issues from Internet Marketing, Fraud Prevention and Mobile Payment Solutions through to Reservation Management and Loyalty Programmes. These free of charge seminars will be open to all visitors.

Tuesday 19th will see the launch of a Senior Management Conference aimed at CEO's and CIO's of the major groups. After an opening address by a yet to be named keynote speaker, the conference will split into two halves.

'Technology for Hospitality', will predominantly investigate the advances and trends in the accommodation arena, from customer relationships through to in room technology, whilst 'Technology for Foodservice' will investigate the use of new developments in EPOS systems and supply chain management.

Key exhibitors already confirmed within Hostec-Europe include, Micros Fidelios, Avon Data, Databasics, Guestline, Forbes and Kaba.
