Hotelympia 10k run breaks 1000 mark

Registration numbers for this year's Hotelympia 10K chefs and waiters' race, have broken the 1,000 mark.

This year's race will feature teams from some of the country's top hotels and restaurants with runners of all abilities taking to the streets of London.

Olympic hopeful, 400m hurdler Perri Shakes-Drayton, will be presenting prizes to winners of the race and athletics coach Chris Zah will be the guest of honour starting the race. 

The Hotelympia 10K is raising much needed funds for Springboard Charitable Trust, the hospitality industry's training and education charity.
