Huhtamaki Launch Bio-Coated Paper Cup Range

With an ever increasing demand for sustainable products, packaging experts Huhtamaki are delighted to announce the launch of an exciting new product – bio-coated paper cups for hot and cold drinks!

An innovative addition to Huhtamaki's existing range of single-use BioWare cups, plates, containers and cutlery, and, the cups, as with all BioWare products, are completely compostable thanks to their bio-coating.
 
Manufactured using materials from sustainably managed forests (which can be tracked back to their origins), the cup's cartonboard material has the Forestry Stewardship Council's (FSC) chain of custody certificate. 
 
In addition, thanks to the cups innovative bio-coating, the product can be composted in industrial composting facilities. 
 
When disposed of in industrial composting conditions, BioWare products compost into water, carbon dioxide and organic material. The entire chain, from raw material input to production and disposal, has been designed to have a minimal impact on the environment. Use BioWare products and combine the waste stream for packaging and food.
 
The new BioWare bio-coated hot and cold cups are available in a variety of cups sizes making them a fantastic range for your current beverage service.
 
Available in the attractive BioWare stock design, thanks to Huhtamaki's excellent printing service, you can customise your own – a great promotional tool. Simply provide a name, logo, slogan of design, and Huhtamaki will do the rest.
 
Designed to fulfill the needs of various foodservice operators, BioWare products are ideal for outdoor and banquet-style catering, offering a range of packaging disposables that are primarily made of renewable plant materials. The BioWare hot and cold cups are certified in accordance with EN13432, the European 'norm' for compostability of packaging.
