LACA ask you to get voting

16th July 2009, 10:25am

The Local Authority Caterers Association (LACA) is calling on all its members and the catering industry to get voting.

They want to find out what is the most popular school meal and dessert in the country.

The new chair of LACA, Beverley Baker, said: "As part of National School Meals Week (NSMW) we want to discover Britain's most popular meal so we need everyone to vote now. All you have to do is go to www.iloveschoolmeals.co.uk and click on the 'Vote 4' button in the top right corner.

"Please can you encourage colleagues, family and friends to take part as we all have memories of the food that we were served at school. You can also register for the week and download posters that will encourage everyone to get voting."

The results of the vote, which will include regional variation, will be announced on Monday 9th November at the start of NSMW.
