Lincat expands Sales Team

Lincat Ltd, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of commercial catering equipment, has expanded its UK sales team with two new appointments.

The new team members are Dean Griffiths and Sean O'Malley. Whilst Sean takes over responsibility for Lincat's distribution network in the Western region, Dean steps into the new role of Business Development Manager – with special responsibility for 'cost sector' clients including local authorities, hospitals and schools.

"Lincat works in close partnership with its network of distributors to provide Lincat customers with fast delivery and unrivalled customer support," said Tony Aston, Sales Director of Lincat Ltd. "Demand for Lincat products, and especially for our heavy duty Opus 700 range of prime cooking equipment and Opus combi steamers, is growing year on year. We felt therefore that an overall expansion of our team was needed, and in particular that we needed a Business Development Manager specifically to focus on cost sector clients. We wish Dean and Sean every success in their new roles."

Dean Griffiths began his career in the hospitality sector with twelve years' hands on experience of working as a chef. During that time he worked in hotels, hospitals, schools and colleges, gaining experience which will stand him in good stead for his new role as cost sector Business Development Manager. He has subsequently notched up 14 years' experience of catering equipment sales. Dean is married with three children and lives in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Sean O'Malley is new to the role of Regional Sales Manager, but not new to Lincat. On the contrary Sean will celebrate his tenth anniversary of working with the company in April 2008. Having started work for Lincat as a Customer Service administrator, he was subsequently promoted through the ranks to the position of Service Manager. Sean's overall product knowledge and understanding of Lincat service and product support is therefore second to none.
