4th August 2009, 11:54am

Workers within the hospitality industry are being urged to enter London's Flying Chef challenge before the 28 August closing date.

To enter the competition log onto www.flyingchef.co.uk and click onto 'Make my Lunch'.

All entrants need to do is create a sandwich along with a name. The winner will not only have their creation put on the London's Flying Chef autumn sandwich menu but will be treated to a meal at the 2 Michelin starred Midsummer House in Cambridge.

Judging of 'Make my Lunch!' will take place within two weeks of the competition ending. The panel of judges includes Larry Serra - Kudos Hospitality executive head chef and Darren R Deadman - Seasoned Events executive chef.

The judges will view design entries picking five finalists who will be asked to attend a tasting session at London's Flying Chef's kitchens where one lucky winner will be chosen.

The competition is also open to consumers.

Flying Chef operates its business catering in London and Manchester and is part of The Crown Group, an independently owned company.
