MAJOR NEW APPOINTMENT TO FUEL FURTHER GROWTH PLANS

Following a successful period of growth during 2007, Wiltshire based Lyons Seafoods has announced that it will be strengthening its existing team with the appointment of Paul Succony, as operations director.

Paul has over 20 years senior operations experience within the food manufacture industry that includes positions with Northern Foods, Bowyers and most recently Grampian Halls, Scotland's largest pork processor and haggis producer.

Paul will be responsible for implementing the next stage of Lyons Seafoods expansion plans and will play a major part in driving future growth for the company. With an academic background in Industrial Chemistry and Management, Paul will also be responsible for manufacturing, distribution, maintenance engineering, planning and inventory.

The appointment reinforces the existing Board of Directors as the company further enhances its reputation as one of Europe's leading and the UK's largest processor of prawns.

Ole Norgaard, CEO for Lyons Seafoods said: "This is another key appointment for Lyons Seafoods and I am delighted with the appointment of Paul. His strong background within the food industry will help the company develop and strengthen its offering to both the retail and foodservice sectors as we look to achieve our ambitious growth plans."
