The Manchester Hoteliers Association (MHA) has raised a massive £15,000 for the industry charity Hospitality Action (HA).

The donation was raised at the MHA annual ball held at the Ramada Piccadilly.

Just under 500 guests attended the evening which was sponsored by Heineken and Key 103, amongst others. Greater Manchester hoteliers plus a selection of suppliers and sponsors all attended the Mardi Gras themed night.

Stephen Miles, chairman of the MHA, said: "The Manchester Hoteliers Association has raised £73,000 since 2004 for Hospitality Action. The service the charity offers to the industry is invaluable and we're delighted to support the great work it does on our behalf."
