

Mackay will be playing a major role in supporting The Bureau's Hotel, leisure and contract catering business.
Having started his career with West Yorkshire Police, Mackay then took on a different kind of enforcement role, graduating with a first class degree in environmental health from Leeds Metropolitan University before working as an environmental health officer (EHO) and senior EHO for Rochdale and Wakefield Councils respectively.
Before joining The European Safety Bureau, Mackay was senior consultant with hygiene monitoring services, mainly working in the hospitality and leisure sector and conducting audits in Denmark, France, Spain, Ireland, Hungary, Slovakia, Egypt, Senegal, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates and Barnsley. He then joined National Britannia and Connaught for two years.
The European Safety Bureau is a leading supplier of food safety and health & safety consultancy services to the food and catering industry with major contract catering clients including BaxterStorey and ISS Eaton.
